There are millions of known arthropod species. There are doubtless millions more. And there may be quintillions of individual arthropods.
We know little about most of these animals and, as a result, little about how their welfare might be improved in contexts where humans use, manage, or otherwise affect them.
The mission of the Arthropoda Foundation is to support research on the welfare of arthropods. We value both basic and applied projects. We are particularly interested in research with a clear path to impact, whether by shaping future science or informing real-world decision-making.
