The Arthropoda Foundation supports research on the welfare of animals in Phylum Arthropoda. The Foundation supports research directly through its grantmaking. In addition, it serves as a hub for researchers, grantmakers, and industry stakeholders, sharing information that bears on strategic directions for research on arthropod welfare.

The Arthropoda Foundation accepts proposals for empirical projects on a rolling basis. Inquiries should be directed to grants@arthropodafoundation.org. 

Bob Fischer directs the Foundation. In addition to this role, he is a professor at Texas State University and a research associate at the Butterfly Pavilion.
